Vicky did a wonderful job touring us through the wonderful food of the night market. Not only were the food choices great but she has so much information and so many stories to share about the food that made it even more meaningful. She was always considerate and attentive of our needs.

Vicky’s Raohe Night Market tour was a very enjoyable and informative experience. One of the standout aspects of the tour was the additional cultural and historical context she provided throughout the evening. Her explanations about Taiwan, as well as the Temple of the Sea Goddess near the market, added depth and value beyond just the food experience. The food selections throughout the market were good, and Vicky made sure the food portion of the tour was thoroughly covered. She was punctual and took her time guiding the group through the different stops. One thing worth noting is that not every Michelin-recognized item may be fully sampled unless you are personally willing to try everything included in the experience. Some foods may be outside your comfort zone, depending on the type of culinary experience you are looking for. However, Vicky approached the tour with flexibility and understanding, making the experience feel more optional and less pressured compared to some other food tours. She showed knowledge of Taiwanese history and local culture, which made the evening feel more immersive rather than just a simple food crawl. If you are looking for a relaxed evening exploring Taiwanese street food while learning more about the culture and history of the area, I would recommend Vicky’s tour.
