Bo NIL (Borey)

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my fantastic experience during the one-day Angkor Wat tour that I booked online while I was still in Vietnam. About a day before my arrival in Siem Reap, I received a confirmation email for my scheduled tour on July 18, 2023. The email included the name of our tour guide, Borey, along with her WhatsApp details. Upon receiving the email, I promptly replied and confirmed my participation. I also reached out to Borey personally through WhatsApp to confirm my tour. The next day, Borey messaged me again, reminding me about the tour and requesting my accommodation address and room number. I provided her with all the necessary details for my stay in Siem Reap. On the day of the tour, Borey sent me another message, informing me that she would pick me up at around 8:45 in the morning. I was delighted with her constant updates and attentiveness. At the designated time, Borey, along with the van driver, arrived to pick me up from my hostel. Stepping into the van, I was amazed to find that there were only four guests, including myself, who would be joining the tour. Borey, our tour guide, immediately began her job with enthusiasm, cheerfully sharing our itinerary for the day. There was never a dull moment inside the van as Borey encouraged us to introduce ourselves to the other guests. I discovered that the other three guests were all from Singapore. After our brief introductions, Borey started sharing fascinating stories about Angkor Wat, as well as insights about Cambodia and Siem Reap. Her extensive knowledge, coupled with her excellent English language skills, made the experience even more enjoyable. We visited all the temples listed in our itinerary, and Borey didn't disappoint us with her wealth of amazing facts, stories, and anecdotes about each site. During our tour, we also had lighthearted conversations about the impact of the pandemic on Borey and the entire Siem Reap tourism industry. I'm writing this review to express my sincere appreciation to Borey for providing us with the best possible Angkor Wat tour experience. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a tour guide if you're planning to visit Siem Reap and explore the captivating beauty of the Angkor Wat complex. The only thing we missed during the tour was the opportunity to experience the sunset in Siem Reap. However, due to heavy rain, we couldn't proceed with the final stop. This was completely understandable and beyond Borey's control. Nevertheless, the entire tour was truly amazing. Borey also took some wonderful photos of me, and I cannot thank her enough for the lasting memories I made in Siem Reap. If I were to rate her service, it would definitely be a perfect 10/10 from me. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the van driver (whose name I unfortunately didn't ask) for contributing to this incredible experience.
